Desert Memories
The road ahead is uncertain. There is a lot on your mind.
You're not sure where you're going, exactly. Just keep going west. Hopefully things work out.
The desert seems to go on endlessly. After a long day driving, a stretch at a rest stop is a welcome respite from the monotony of pavement and sagebrush.
What lies in the open land beyond the big sign?
Maybe you'll find something interesting in the desert.

Disclosures: I used Adobe Express for the banner graphic since my usual banners are pretty lame. This one is a tiny bit less awful! I also used ChatGPT to help me improve my dialog in a few scenes since I'm a horticulturist, not a writer. It's definitely better than my original attempts. (In retrospect, that was probably more hassle than it was worth since it took a lot of reformatting work when I added the Long Dialog hack.) I probably should have used it to make better Joshua trees. ;-)
